I'm going to be putting close to 2 gallons of fresh oil into the S4 tomorrow during the day, and then friends and I are going to Korean BBQ Buffet. Yes, you read that right: Korean. BBQ. Buffet. Have the best version of the S4 for your time.

That is a Lot. Of. Oil. Think that's about what my '87 300D took. Do you use synthetic?

It's German. Therefore, it has a very deep sump (7 quarts and change, nominal capacity is 6.5qt, but that's being generous with the rounding, including filter change, and the filter is huge). It's not quite to two US gallons, but it's far closer than my F-150 (which honestly needs that kind of capacity with it's 3000 mile severe service interval).

I tend to use German Castrol 0W-30 in the BMW and the Audi. Mobil 1 is also used if there isn't German Castrol to be had (I bought the local AutoZone's entire stock of 9qt, because racecar).

Yeah dude. I thought that was how Korean bbq was always done. I guess I had never considered the pricing structure, but usually we just into all you can eat. Then I eat until asplode.

Surely you mean bulgogi ? /arbitrarysnobbery
Actually, I just had BBQ, but it was the normal NC kind. Pretty good, though.

Well, yes bulgogi, but also there are also various preparations of Kalbi available as well.

I don't know if you have been there, but the place is Cho Won.

Nope, haven't been there. About the closest place to a Korean restaurant I've been to in Atlanta per se was Abdullah the Butcher's.

If I recall correctly, the 300D took 6 quarts - 1.5 gallons. Inline 6. Sort of makes sense ....
